Red Ribbon Week (Day 1)

This week we are celebrating Red Ribbon Week where we make efforts to bring educate children about healthy choices and drug awareness. Students and staff were asked to wear mix-matched clothing because 'healthy choices and drugs DO NOT MATCH!' Check out Mrs. McCrea's participants....! :)

Junie B. Jones Field Trip

We went on our annual Junie B. Jones field trip. My students had an awesome time making connections from the events of the stories heard in class to the scenes in the musical. It is always amazing watching as they experience literature 'coming to life'! Everytime a familiar event happened they looked at me in awe saying things like, 'Heyyyy we read about that in class'! The Junie B. Jones musical is always an awesome educational experience! :)
